Abstract :
We apply the auto-tuning PID-like fuzzy controller to some studies on the adaptive control system. In order to enhance the flexibility and control capability of the controller we developed, three parameters, including system error (e(k)), error change (e(k)) and the change of error change (e(k)), are used as the reference inputs of the fuzzy mechanism. For demonstrating the superiority of the controller we designed, two types of control systems, i.e., periodic control and model reference control, are studied and simulated. For a comparison, the traditional fuzzy controller with two inputs (e(k) and (e(k)) is also performed.
