Abstract :
In this paper, the performance of the dual-hop Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) amplify-and-forward (AF) relay systems with transmit beamforming and maximum ratio combining scheme (MIMO-MRC) is investigated over interference-limited Rayleigh fading channels. Exact closed-form expressions have been derived for the cumulative distribution function (CDF) and probability distribution function (PDF) of the equivalent signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), the outage probability, and average symbol error rate (SER). Finally, numerical results and Monte Carlo simulations are carried out, by which we verify the validity of our analysis and study the effects of various parameters on the system performance.
