Abstract :
At present, the architectural heritage are facing the impingement of the rapid development economy and the accelerating urbanization process in China. Although more and more attention has been paid to their preservation, the event of the architectural heritage destruction could be found almost everywhere. To a large extent, this should be ascribed to the government because the government plays a leading role during the preservation of the architectural heritage and does not manage them effectively. So, this paper will mainly make research on the root of the management problems with the theory of the cultural economics, management and philosophy. The ultimate goal is to promote the preservation and sustainable development of the architectural heritage.
