Abstract :
Abstract-decision tranquillity has been proposed as a possible surrogate for the cognitive or emotional affect experienced by individuals making a best choice decision. An earlier empirical validation of Yager´s measure of decision tranquillity suggests that Yager´s measures exhibit considerable merit. In this paper we report on a second empirical study relating the mathematical measure of tranquillity to the responses of university students. The slightly revised design provided confirmation of earlier results while expanding the experimental controls
