Abstract :
In this paper, the dynamic V-P characteristics of photovoltaic-cells (PV) are considered. It is clarified that the static characteristics are obtained from the dynamic characteristics. The dynamic characteristics are measured bit making PV to short-circuit in a moment. The authors proposed this new approach for MPPT and named it the momentarily-short-calibration method. It is known that the dynamic characteristics of PV are different from the static ones. Therefore, the authors propose a method to estimate the static characteristics of PV from the dynamic ones. This paper shows the basic concept with simulations and experiments
