Abstract :
Dynamic linguistic models can be implemented by fuzzy automata. In this paper the model of the fuzzy-state-fuzzy-output finite state machine (FSFO FSM) is discussed. The FSFO FSM is realized using the concepts of crisp-state-fuzzy-output FSM (CSFO FSM) and state membership functions (SMF). A systematic method is suggested to design the state transients of the FSFO FSM by means of a specified sequence of changes at the fuzzy inputs and outputs. The presented FSFO FSM model exhibits new features for tuning adaptive fuzzy logic controllers working in the real time environment
