Abstract
A fuzzy-net search classifier (FSC) system has been developed to control tool breakage in end milling operation based on fuzzy nets approach. The FSC system has the self-learning capability to generate rule bases and to fine tune the term sets of each linguist variables to the appropriate level of granularity. The performance of the FSC system is examined for an end milling operation
