Abstract :
Mobile computing emerged in recent years as a primary technological area because of the large increase of computing capability and connectivity of mobile devices. This trend has led to the exponential growth of mobile applications and pervasive digital data, even if it requires facing many research challenges. My main research goal is the investigation of new software solutions, applications and services in mobile domain for tackling the problem of energy efficiency and for handing the huge quantity of mobile data that can be helpful in urban environments.
