  • Abstract
    Integrated audio power amplifiers are expected to be robust against short circuits between the output and supply terminals. Naturally this also applies to class D amplifiers. The design of an accurate overcurrent protection is complicated by the continuous switching of the power transistors in class D power stages. In this paper a fully integrated overcurrent protection is presented suitable for application in integrated class D power amplifiers.
