Abstract :
This paper proposes a predictive algorithm for AC-DC three phase converter with active power factor correction. The control proposed does not have current feedbacks and the input current levels are controlled by the DC voltage loop. The main idea of this algorithm is to take the three phases converter like a sequence of two converters working simultaneously and the equations modeled was approximated by their equivalent discrete equations. Analysis, design and Mat-lab simulations were made for verification of the model.
