  • Abstract
    Recently, a novel evolutionary optimization algorithm, particle swarm optimization (PSO), has been successfully applied to a large variety of fields. In this paper, a printed monopole antenna for dualband WLAN is designed by using PSO. It is shown that the antenna can be quickly designed to meet the requirements for dualband WLAN application.
