Abstract :
A low noise and low cost YIG-oscillator which is easy to stabilize within a phase-locked-loop has been developed. In order to achieve a good phase noise performance it has been simulated using only the linear scattering parameters of the transistors. Measurements on self-built prototype circuits have been made and show a good accordance with the calculation.
