Abstract :
Blackbody emissivity measurement is necessary in order to calibrate the microwave radiometers. One of the methods for determining blackbody eimissivities is to employ bistatic radar. To understand the measurement accuracy, a simulation study is done using techniques of numerical electromagnetics, equivalence theorem and reaction integral equation, which describes the relationship between the incident wave, the blackbody scattering and the received power of the receiving antenna.
