Abstract :
After establishing Ethernet TCP/IP as a well known authority in the world of automation, the challenge now is to achieve a far reaching harmonisation of the already existing and in future emerging protocols. This is what the IAONA Europe in its function as the umbrella organisation for IDA and Ethernet/IP is actively approaching.
