Abstract :
In this paper, the competitiveness of various cities of Shaanxi province is analyzed. Firstly, the article establishes the index systems of city competitiveness; furthermore, the comprehensive scores on competitiveness of all the cities in Shaanxi province are calculated by means of the Principal-Components-Analysis method. Secondly, the locations of breakpoint of the adjoining cities are measured by utilizing the corresponding theory. At last, the article makes the weighted Voronoi diagram of ten cities in Shaanxi province by means of geographical-information-system software ARC / INFO and then determines the specific scope of radiation of the cities.
