Abstract :
In computer science and technology specialty, software curriculum hold very important position, while Compile Principle is regarded as one of those key special courses. However, currently many Colleges and some Universities have removed Compile Principle course from their curriculum schedule, while the teaching of computer languages is obviously strengthened, in this way the students graduated from these colleges or universities usually learn less theory courses, and only know some fundamental concepts and less basic principles. Naturally, too ignoring the theory foundation will influence the future development and competence of undergraduates, e.g., undergraduates do not know the mechanism of compiling of a source grogram when they do not learn Compile Principle course. Of course, how to balance the relationship between theory course learning and practice course learning is a very challenging but very important issue. In this paper, after analyzing the guideline of software curriculum learning, we give the relationship between principle courses and computer language courses, Compile Principle and other software curriculum. Also, we propose the role of Compile Principle from its main contents and its application.
