Abstract :
A method of image denoising using Wiener filtering and wavelet thresholding is discussed. Unlike previous methods used for image denoising using Wiener filtering and wavelet thresholding, the statistician´s Pythagorean theorem is used for wavelet thresholding. A faster, approximate implementation of the filter is thus achieved
