Abstract :
This paper establishes the parking demand forecast model based on the analysis of the land location. In order to quantitative analysis the parking value of land location, we choice five parameters to describe it, that is geography attribute, social character, parking supply conditions, traffic situation, and bus system status. How to demarcate the five parameters is pivotal. According to the different characters of the five parameters, some indexes are defined by the statistical data in experience analyses, and others are demarcated basing on the changing practical data. The parking demand forecast model based on the parking generation rate model, and lead into the land location theory, adds the modified coefficient, include the growth rate of urban motor vehicle, the parking saturation and parking berth turnover rate in peak time. Finally, taking the data of Kunming city, test and verify the forecast model. The result shows the parking demand is closely related with the land location, and this model is useful to increase the efficiency of parking facility planning and construction.
