Abstract :
Based on a quasi-static new model, the relations between structure parameters and resonance frequency are analyzed in detail. At the same time, a precision comparison is performed among the new model formulas, Sievenpiper model formulas and Yang modified formulas. The results show that, the theory value of new model compared with other two model values is the closest to the simulation value, and there are some new understanding on the effect of gap width and visa radius. According to the new model and analyzed results, some engineering design guidelines for the mushroom-like EBG structures are presented.
