Abstract :
In this paper the authors present an attack on 7-round AES-128/256 to improve the known cryptanalysis by changing the order of round transformation, using the alternative representation of the round keys, exploiting the relationship of keys, designing the key difference pattern properly. By using the improved attack method, the complexity is reduced from 2192 to 2104 with 272 chosen plaintexts, the authors reduce complexity to 288 using partial sums.
