Abstract :
This paper presents a method of the synthesis of an NRD-guide bandpass filter based on a half-wave step-impedance prototype filter. The only wave parameter required to design a filter is the reflection coefficient S(11i). A 3-pole NRD-guide filter with Chebyshev 0.1 dB equiripple characteristic was designed. The center frequency was chosen to be f0-9.5 GHz and pass band to 1.9%. The filter was verified numerically using 3D FDTD simulator Quick-wave
