Abstract
This paper investigates experimental evaluations of control schemes for systems with pointwise-in-time constraints on states and control inputs. Reference governor control strategies are applied to a RC (radio controlled) model helicopter control system. Practical effectiveness and also limitations in the presence of modeling uncertainties are evaluated through experiments of the yaw angle control in hovering motions of the helicopter.
