Abstract :
In this paper we report recent progress on metrological performances of the LPTF CO/sub 2/ frequency standard in the 28/29 THz range, using OsO/sub 4/ molecules as frequency reference. Significant improvements of both short-term (7.10/sup -14///spl radic//spl tau/ for /spl tau/<300 s) and long-term stability (3.10/sup -15///spl radic//spl tau/ up to /spl tau/=4000 s) are obtained. The reproducibility (over more than one year) is about 4.10/sup -13/ at present time.
