  • Abstract
    The physical characteristics, ignition performance and combustion characteristic of SDBF were analyzed in this paper. It indicates that the physical of SDBF is close to the coal in density, Calorific value and other aspects. The ignition performance has the tendency to biomass straw, but the ignition temperature became higher than the straw. The combustion characteristic is about the same like coal, which has a moderate burning rate and the combustion is relatively stable. It has the advantage of convenience in collection and storage, and easy to realize, easy to transport and fire protection, combustion efficiency and output, economic when compared with the biomass straw fired boiler. The difficulties of power plants fired by biomass straw are no longer problems in SDBF fired power station.
