Abstract :
Previously, a zero voltage switching (ZVS) phase-shift-controlled (PSC) full-bridge DC-DC converter with nondissipative snubber for rectifying diodes has been proposed. This paper proposes an improved snubber to further reduce the power dissipation in a rectifying circuit. As a result, the efficiency has been improved to 91% on a prototype for a 12 V/80 A output and 94% for a 48 V/20 A output
