  • Abstract
    “Moore´s Law” long ago entered the popular lexicon - but remains poorly understood, even among scientists and engineers. This paper will evaluate the real roots of “Moore´s Law,” and then consider its future prospects. Of particular note, “Moore´s Law” is both a historical and a technological fluke - one that cannot be repeated in other fields of endeavor.
