Abstract :
Rectennas operating on 10 GHz with high RF-DC conversion efficiency of 75% were studied in this paper. The circularly polarized quasi-square patches fed by aperture coupling were used as the receiving antennas, which were integrated and matched to the circuits of rectenna easily. The double-layer designing not only minimized the size of the rectennas but also decreased the effects of the circuits on the antenna and improve the bandwidth and gain of the receiving antennas.
