Abstract :
In adaptive OFDM system, Chow algorithm is the most widely-used method to improve system performance. However, Chow algorithm which based on channel capacity is not the optimal method. In this paper, the optimal bit allocation method of multi-tone system: Campello allocation method is introduced. After simplify Classic Chow algorithm, we combined Chow algorithm and Campello method, then produced improved Chow algorithm, which is proved effective by simulation. Then we used improved Chow algorithm in both SISO OFDM system and MIMO OFDM system.
