Abstract :
In the area of dynamic driving control and sensor monitoring, the parameters, which characterize the vehicle loading state, play an important role. In practice, the vehicle loading state and therefore the parameters change permanently. This fact influences the quality of both the control and the sensor monitoring. To ensure the efficiency of such control and sensor monitoring systems, there exist several possibilities. One possibility is to estimate the parameters on-line and insert them into the related models continuously. The estimated parameters can be regarded as available vehicle parameters for the total electronic control system. The contribution of this paper is to develop a concept for estimating these parameters.
