Abstract
To improve inter-enterprise collaboration, an efficient infrastructure must be set. Nevertheless, due to the potential involvement of a partner in several collaborative organisations and due to the short duration of the virtual organisation, reduced investments are devoted to the collaborative infrastructure. Consequently, we propose to tune dynamically the existing infrastructure to the current needs. To solve this problem we propose to couple process description to the infrastructure description. By this way, applicative signatures can be defined and allow to tune efficiently the infrastructure monitoring process. To support this adaptive monitoring system, we couple a mobile agent platform to an agent generator system. This technology offers great capabilities such as increased flexibility and distributed monitoring. Moreover, while coupling the agent generator to the process description model and to monitoring patterns, a large variety of monitoring agents can be generated and adapted to the current needs.
