Using Information for Classification of Knowledge Works

The purpose of this paper is to classify the knowledge works. Knowledge workers use information to create knowledge. In this paper we have classified the knowledge works based on the information they use for knowledge creation. We defined two characteristics for information, the amount and the variability of it. Then we divided knowledge works into four categories and discussed the characteristic of each. It can be used for better human resource management and work study in knowledge works for more productive results.
