Abstract
Microwave remote sensing data comprehension for typical targets forms the basis of microwave remote sensing applications. Ideas and approaches of microwave scattering database construction for typical targets (such as soil, crop, forest, water, urban area, etc.) from demand analysis, system design, database design and analysis of key issues are introduced in detail. This database can store and manage field measured scattering data, scattering mechanism model, microwave remote sensing application model, and application instance etc. used B/S framework to realize microwave scattering properties data management and sharing.
