  • Abstract
Insulating joint is the important equipment of cathodic protection in the system of pipeline and it is succedaneum of insulating flange. This paper researcher systemically discusses the finite element theory, and has a 3D dynamic simulation towards the temperature field and stress field generated during the process of welding combining with the numerical calculation method. According to analytical result, the high temperature welding data in the seal groove and analysis of rubber seals by the degree of heat injury are got and at the same time the injury situation of insulation sealing ring for welding´s high temperature in different circumstances are got and the researcher brings forward the reasonable methods to improve. Research on the sealing of the insulating joint has great significance in theoretical research and engineering applications.
