Abstract :
We have proposed a pitching control method for electric vehicle (EV). The pitching motion influences the ride comfortability of the vehicle severely. This paper proposes the method that control pitching motion ideally by the torque of in-wheel motors when the vehicle is braking. Experiments are carried out with small-scale EV to show the effectiveness of proposed method when the vehicle is braking and stopping.
