Abstract :
This study investigates the life cycle assessment of the manufacturing phase of the lithium ion battery. The evaluation of releases for use and end-of-life phases for lithium ion batteries will be developed and be used to generate relevant toxicological data for use in SimaProTM. Investigation of the EOL management of electronics within the existing U.S. waste management infrastructure has already begun. In addition, the potential barriers or advantages to recycling CNT materials within existing infrastructure will be investigated.
