    This paper describes the steps taken to manage the problem of aged oil filled switchgear within a large industrial organisation. It details the initial effects on the business´s various operations, how appropriate solutions were identified and how progress of the individual action plans has been monitored across a large number of sites. The problems encountered and experiences gained are discussed
