Abstract
In the present paper the steady-state and the dynamic behavior of the dual-active bridge topology have been studied. The small-signal model of the converter has been derived and theoretical and experimental results are presented. The dual-active bridge is an attractive solution for high- power applications where a bi-directional operation is needed.
