Abstract
The regenerative operation can simultaneously lead to energy savings and braking effects, thus it is very important to install the system for regenerative operation. In this paper, various kinds of interface circuits for the regenerative operation of electric vehicles are proposed, then the principle and operation characteristic of the circuits are described. In addition, the proposed circuits are analyzed with a simulation program. Using the simulation results, design methods are discussed. Finally, the proposed circuits are realized and the experimental results are given
