Abstract
This paper presents a stabilizing approach used to control the voltages on the capacitors and the currents in the load of a four-level three-cell DC-DC converter. A general method based on bond graph formalism and the notion of commutation cells is presented to derive the mathematical model for the system, needed in order to compute the feedback. The control law is deduced using a Lyapunov function taking into account energy principles. The approach is tested on an experimental platform allowing a comparison with the simulation results.
