Abstract :
The following topics are dealt with: automotive applications of power BiMOS (bipolar metal-oxide-semiconductor) integrated circuits; LCD (liquid crystal display) instrumentation for automotive navigation systems; a short-range UHF telemetry system using passive transponders for vehicle ID and status information; a dual-processor automotive controller; a centralized multiprocessor-based control to optimize performance in complex vehicles; an automatic speed control device using self-tuning fuzzy logic; and vehicle longitudinal controller design. Abstracts of individual papers can be found under the relevant classification codes in this or other issues
