Abstract :
A parametric mannequin modeling technology based on feature is presented. Differing from traditional human modeling methods, this one involves a feature-based parametric design ideas, feature parameters are determined according to anthropometry; Additionally, a parametric deformation algorithm based on free-form deformation also have been introduced. The remarkable advantages of this technology are the simplicity of operating, the intuition of input and the quick speed of modeling. It can be effectively applied to 3-D garment simulation environment in need of individual mannequins.
