Abstract
The design of radar waveforms has made significant advances over the past two decades. This has been prompted both by increasingly stringent radar performance requirements and the development of high-speed digital processing hardware. The purpose of this paper is to review two specific examples of modern waveform design, and to attempt to make some predictions for the future
