Abstract :
10 kinds of common metal ions with concentration range from 1g/L to 3g/L were selected for investigating the effect of metal ions on degradation of fuchsine acid by laccase. The results showed that the degradation was promoted through the addition of Cu2+, Ca2+, Mn2+, Mg2+, Na+ and K+ with concentration range from 1g/L to 3g/L, while it was inhibited with Fe3+, Cr3+, Co2+ and Ni2+ with concentration range from 1g/L to 3g/L. In the presence of 3g/L Cu2+, 79.3% of fuchsine acid was degraded in 210 minutes.
