Abstract :
The current life-cycle and documentation concepts under development for the NASA space station program are presented. The approach is to utilize the baselined NASA software standards to the greatest extent possible. The objectives include the development of a methodology which will assist managers in the tailoring of the life cycle for a specific application and in defining the appropriate documentation requirements. Additional objectives include expanding the standards to a system perspective, defining the relationship between the documents, and defining a mechanism for documentation tailoring
