Abstract :
This paper describes a precision calibration method, which was used for the calibration of a power density meter developed for the measurement of hazardous microwave radiations by the Department of Microwave Telecommunications of TUB. It deals with the sources of errors (effects of reflections of measuring antennas, multipath interference due to the reflection and scattering of energy from other object and the errors originating from the uncertainty of the needed physical parameters) and calculates the value of resulting error for the free-space standard field calibration procedure.
