Abstract :
The research of wearable instruments is a new research direction which accompanies with the development trends of measure instrument, such as miniaturization, virtualization and intelligence. One of the important research projects of the wearable instrument system design is offer convenient, flexible and reliable interactive input methods to engineering technicians who are cope with testing and maintaining task of huge and complex equipments. This study attempts to explore design patterns of the separation between the instrument panel and functions using the platform of the single-handed keyboard mouse interaction device, brings in inertial sensor measurement units, and puts forward a new kind of interaction method which combines keyboard stroke and gesture movements. All the functions of traditional instrument panel are realized based on this platform, and some conduct experiments are created to evaluate the interactive performance of this new interaction method.
