  • Abstract
    Secure and reliable group communication is an active area of research. The central research challenge is secure and efficient group key management. While centralized methods are often based on Diffie-Hellman key exchange. Our work investigates a novel group key agreement approach which blends key trees based on identity. It yields a secure protocol suite that is both simple and fault-tolerant. Each member of the protocol can verify others identity and easily find the invalid member, including a proper subset of group members who collude.
