Abstract
We discuss the results of investigations into the effect of stratification bias, of ECG data, on classification accuracy of patient state. These results should enable physicians to determine the minimum size, and stratification bias, of the data set required to achieve a specific classification accuracy for determination of the presence of heart disease.
