Abstract
A design is proposed for a mixed-valued sequential machine using binary flip-flops and ternary flip-flops (triflops), using the state-triggered matrix and state-transition matrix. Since K-maps are avoided and the procedure is suitable for program operation on computers, it can be used for the synthesis of a mixed-valued sequential machine with multiple inputs and multiple states
