Abstract
This is a progress report on IEEE´s role as one of several professional associations involved in the Sloan Career Cornerstone Project scheduled for completion by the end of 1998. Project activities include the development of a CD-ROM series, as well as videos and web sites on careers in math, science and engineering. The IEEE is producing a CD-ROM and two videos on careers for electrical engineers, computer engineers and scientists. A Question & Answer component will be a prominent feature of the IEEE student career web site. The Sloan Cornerstone Series, including those produced by IEEE, will be marketed to career centers, libraries, universities and high schools. The IEEE materials will be made available gratis through IEEE Student Branches and will be distributed by the IEEE.
